For a single serving:
Fill a spice bag with 1 tablespoon of spices.
Add the bag to 1 cup of boiling water in a glass tumbler.
Steep for 5 minutes, then remove the spice bag.
Add 1 teaspoon of honey (sold separately) and stir in 2 oz of whiskey, rum, or brandy (optional).
Top with boiling water and serve steaming hot with a cinnamon stick.
